INSIDE THE GROUP PROGRAM 

 

The first week of the program, you start off with a 1:1 session with me to talk about your current lifestyle and goals. We will work together to create a customized plan week over week that will move you through the following program - 

 

PART 1: 

BUILD THE SOLID FOUNDATION FOR YOU TO STEP INTO YOUR HIGHEST SELF EACH DAY.  

Say goodbye to the days where you are frustrated with the inconsistencies and end up doubting yourself why you are even working towards your goals. Within the first 3 weeks, you will discover and learn how to align with your "why" by creating the vision of your highest, most favorite self that you will step into everyday. You will have the tools to identify the thought patterns, fears, and limiting beliefs that are holding you back, and will feel ready to start letting go of all that doesn't serve you. The first weeks are all about understanding where you currently are in your health journey, what's standing in the way, and creating sustainable, real and attainable health goals that will get you to where you want to be in 3 months and beyond.  

 

PART 2:

FUEL YOUR INNER STRENGTHS, LEARN HOW TO BREAK OLD HABITS AND CREATE SPACE TO IMPLEMENT NEW SUSTAINABLE HABITS AND ROUTINES THAT FEEL TOO EASY AND GOOD TO SAY NO TO. 

I will teach you The Balanced Method secret sauce formula for how to best optimize your morning and night routines so it feels authentic serves your needs, and actually fits with your schedule. I give you endless tools, resources, exercises and templates to help optimize your habits and routines to reach your goals. Between the group sessions, weekly offline check-ins, and the group community, you will have the support you need to know you are not alone in this! 

 

PART 3:

LEARN TO SEPARATE STRESSORS & STRESSES IN YOUR LIFE, AND EQUIP YOURSELF WITH THE TOOLS TO NOT ONLY HELP MANAGE YOUR STRESS, BUT CREATE RESILIENCY TO IT. 

You will learn to intuitively recognize where stress shows up throughout your day, mind and body and learn the numerous techniques to build stress resiliency. You will explore various practices such as breath work, meditation, body scans, EFT tapping, mirror work, affirmations & journaling, and more! You will also get to take private live yoga classes with the group community, taught by me! During this part of the program, you will learn how to adjust your food, sleep, exercise and thought patterns to activate the rest & digest nervous system. I teach, guide, and empower you to deepen your self-trust and relationship so you can disarm yourself from the stressors and build stress resiliency to what we can and can't control. 

 

PART 4:

STRENGTHEN YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH FOOD & MOVEMENT BY UNLEASHING YOUR INTUITIVE POWER, PRACTICING MINDFULNESS, AND LEARNING TO LISTEN TO YOUR BODY.

"You can have the perfect diet, but if your relationship with movement is weak, the diet doesn't matter. You can workout every single day, but if you aren't listening to your body, the workouts can be doing you more harm than good."

You will learn how to listen to your body, build a more intuitive relationship with yourself, and achieve food freedom so you can finally honor your body’s cravings and hunger cues, and trust yourself with food decisions. We will explore various mindfulness practices around slowing down, acting with intention, and making decisions that serve you. You will also receive nutritional education & trainings, grocery lists, meal cheat sheets, healthy snacks, food swaps & more, so you feel confident creating nutrient dense balanced meals, picking healthy foods at the grocery store, cooking clean at home, and even eating clean when you’re out. You will also learn how to optimize your gut to get rid of bloat, increase your energy & energy, and make sure your digestive system is working properly!

Your self-awareness and self-relationship is at the heart of intuitive movement. In this part of the program, you will be exploring movement types, classes, and times that are fun, you actually love and will stay committed to. In TBM, I teach you to approach movement with consistency, ease, and fun!

"TBM helped me in a few different areas of my life. The biggest areas would include my relationship with food, my relationship with exercise, and my emotional relationship with myself. My relationship with food was plagued by mis-information from outside sources, I had lost all ability to listen to my own body cues. I was exhausted from a routine of binge and restrict and was desperate to leave behind the feeling of uncertainty with food. My relationship with exercise was just as extreme. It was an all or nothing mentality. I was totally out of touch with myself and couldn't decipher what I really wanted and what was really important to me. Through the practices of The Balanced Method I was able to reflect and really understand what I wanted from my life in a holistic and well rounded sense.

When the TBM group program started we were asked to share a photo of ourselves and do a short introduction. I remember scrolling through my phone and feeling so embarrassed that I didn't have a recent photo. Over the last few years I stopped taking photos of myself because of how insecure I felt. By the end of the program I was sharing videos of myself in a bikini jumping off cliffs in Puerto Rico!

I have a new sense of trust with myself. When it comes to food I have left my thoughts of doubt behind. I don't question every calorie that I eat, instead I lead with my intuition and listen to what my body is asking for. With Dasha's approach I was able to take the foods that I love, the foods from my culture and make it healthy and nutritious. It is sustainable because it doesn't feel disruptive and I appreciate her respect in making all cultures and diets applicable to a healthy lifestyle.

Going into TBM I held some feelings of skepticism due to my previous experience with a health coach. My previous program consisted of counting calories, weighing out food, doing workouts that I didn't enjoy and reaching a goal weight in a specific time period. Dasha's program was refreshingly the opposite. There were no progress pics, no weekly records of body measurements, or weigh-ins and this was so freeing for me. At first I thought, "How am I going to know I am making progress if I don't track these things? How will I reach my goals of weight loss if I am not focusing on these things?". But there I was three months into the program and I had lost 20 lbs without even focusing on weight loss. Through Dasha's program I was able to hear myself for the first time in a long time. I was no longer restricting my food, or killing myself with workouts that I dreaded. I was enjoying life so much more and that allowed me to be more consistent and take small steps everyday. This led to exponential growth towards my goals over the long run. Three months flew by and now over a month after completing the program I still haven't gained a single pound back. This is a far cry from the results of my previous program where I had gained back all my weight (plus some) in just under two months after completion.

Dasha herself is incredibly attentive and you can tell that she truly CARES about her clients. Sometimes the only thing we need in order to launch ourselves into a new way of life is to know that someone cares and is rooting for us. Dasha truly is that person.
